Dromedary Camel
Humphrey the Dromedary Camel thinks he is the star of the Park. He is four years old and has spent most of his life at the Park. Dromedary Camels are single humped camels from Northern Africa. They reach a shoulder height of up to seven feet and weigh between 1000 to 1500 pounds and can travel up to a hundred miles a day. Dromedary Camels eat mainly vegetation but will occasionally eat meat. Humphrey prefers peanuts for his protein.
