Eland
Eland are the largest members of the Antelope family and are found in semiarid and sparse forest regions of Africa. The bull Eland can stand six feet at the shoulder and weigh over 1800 pounds. They feed mainly on grass, brush and some fruits. Ours here at the Park love apples and tomatoes. These animals are endangered in the wild and we are happy to have had three babies born since the park opened and hope to have another soon.
