Ostrich

Ostriches are the largest living bird. They can weigh over 300 pounds and stand as tall as 8 feet high. Females are gray-brown in color while males are black with white tails and wing feathers. Ostriches inhabit savannah and scrubland in Africa. They feed on seeds, berries, plants, leaves, grasses and small animals. They will also swallow gravel to help break up the food in their stomach.
